16 exclusive charging stations right at the entrance of a notoriously congested grocery store parking lot. A huge row of Teslas right were everyone trying to park their non-Tesla car (whether ICE -or- EV) has to look at them while circling, looking for a space. Marketing genius… but not necessarily in the way Tesla intends.

On the fediverse, there seems to be less of a tendency to just scroll indefinitely. Once you’ve seen all the updates, that’s it, until there’s more. I kinda like it! Should free up a lot of time to do more useful things while on the toilet

On macOS, host and dig don't query the system resolver the way other apps do. Try these instead: dscacheutil -q host -a name example.com or dns-sd -G v4v6 example.com

Remarkable how much of the future goes back to being powered by steam and yet how unreliable it is, spewing all over the place in dark alleys and bursting from consoles every time a spaceship gets blasted.

Had this weird crossed-wires experience trying to meet a coworker at their desk only to find the whole office suite empty and dark (typical Friday). It triggered a memory of this Garfield series from when I was a kid, which has stuck with me for 30+ years:
